What is Fuelled By Youth?

Fuelled by Youth is an arts commissioning team of people aged 16-25 with different backgrounds and interests. As a team, key decisions are made on the selection of interesting artists and unique new artworks for Milton Keynes. From film and music to mixed reality – there are no rules on artforms.

Across a series of online and face to face sessions, the team learn the skills to recruit and commission artists. Team members receive:

• a small fee to cover expenses

• opportunities to connect with creative industry professionals and grow communication and team working skills

• the chance to boost your CV and grow skills

• snacks & drinks at all face to face meet ups

The Fuelled by Youth team is a diverse team of people with different backgrounds, lived experiences and interests. The programme is designed to be sociable, stress-free, and enjoyed at a comfortable pace. You don’t need any past experience or qualifications.
