You’ll join Tara & Vic from Offset Projects for a relaxed discussion reflecting on artist Tendayi Vine’s creative practice at Westbury, possibilities for the venue’s artistic future & the role under 25s in Milton Keynes might have to play in this.

You’ll work with artist Tendayi Vine to imagine and re-imagine past, present & future stories related to Westbury Arts Centre and Milton Keynes. You’ll then preserve these as material artefacts ranging from prints to models to digital media. These will be documented and archived digitally.

You’ll work with artist Tendayi Vine to explore different techniques for understanding and recording physical spaces. This includes drawing, collage, photography & mapmaking. You’ll document physical geography as well as begin to highlight the emotional & psychological relationships that can be had with spaces.

This is a major opportunity to take part in a national research study on young people’s views on culture, creativity and cultural education. Commissioned by the Department for Education and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, this is a peer-led session. Limited spaces available.
