Everyday Artefacts
An object making workshop.

You’ll work with artist Tendayi Vine to imagine and re-imagine past, present & future stories related to Westbury Arts Centre and Milton Keynes. You’ll then preserve these as material artefacts ranging from prints to models to digital media. These will be documented and archived digitally.
New Perspectives, Familiar Territories
A workshop exploring art, landscape & emotion.

You’ll work with artist Tendayi Vine to explore different techniques for understanding and recording physical spaces. This includes drawing, collage, photography & mapmaking. You’ll document physical geography as well as begin to highlight the emotional & psychological relationships that can be had with spaces.
The Art of Influence
A relaxed discussion to influence UK government policy on cultural education

This is a major opportunity to take part in a national research study on young people’s views on culture, creativity and cultural education. Commissioned by the Department for Education and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, this is a peer-led session. Limited spaces available.

Join Offset to explore in more detail the reality of owning, and running a youth-led space. This session is led by Arizona Smith, a London based artist, who has been involved in managing, and running youth-led projects and spaces.
Whose art is it anyway?

The session will support young people to ask questions about ownership and how they might co-own large-scale public projects. The session is led by Patrick Farrell aka Cave Man, a poet and MC from Manchester.

A session exploring your rights as a young person. Write your rights will explore different voices and how these are represented within youth-led programmes. The session will be led by Harley Russell, a co-founder of Arts31.
