Made in Bletchley is a short documentary that captures the spirit, resilience, and emotional power of a community boxing club in Milton Keynes. Commissioned by Offset Projects’ Fuelled by Youth team, the film centres on Bletchley Boxing Community Hub — its founder, its young boxers, and the families who form a close-knit, supportive community behind the scenes.

Boxing is often reduced to narrow stereotypes. This film challenges those ideas, revealing the discipline, dedication, and care that thrive in spaces like this. From first ideas to final cut, the creative team immersed themselves in the club to explore the emotional landscape of the sport — its ability to build confidence, instil purpose, and create belonging.

Developed through Offset Projects’ youth-led commissioning programme, Fuelled by Youth, Made in Bletchley champions inclusive, innovative filmmaking that amplifies the voices of young people in Milton Keynes. This is more than a boxing story — it’s about people, place, and the quiet strength of community.
