Right Here & Tomorrow is a new youth culture zine for Milton Keynes launching soon.
Throughout November weβll be releasing ten statements selected by the Right Here & Tomorrow editorial team, all aged 16-25. Each statement has been distilled from wider consultation with young communities across Milton Keynes in settings such as secondary schools, sixth forms, youth groups and MK College.
Weβre looking for ten artists under 25, and based in Milton Keynes, to respond to these ten statements.
We use the term βartistβ to mean anyone interested making creative work in any artform or medium. If selected, you will be commissioned to make an artwork which will be photographed and/or printed in the Right Here & Tomorrow zine. The fee for this will be Β£200 and will need to include the cost of your materials. We encourage you to be mindful of what is possible in relation to this fee, and your time & material costs.
Important
Artworks will be printed A5 in size, 300 DPI and CMYK colour.
New statements will be released regularly throughout November until all ten statements are shared.
Be sure to follow on our social media channels to be the first to hear as new statements are released.
How to apply
Choose which statement you would like to respond to through your artwork. Pitch your artwork idea in no more than 100 words. If selected, the editorial team will pay you Β£200 to create your idea.
